No Doubt: They Treat Us Harsher Than their Own

No Doubt: They Treat Us Harsher Than their Own

October 31, 2015

Allah (G-d) Most High says in the Qur’an: 4.135, O ye who believe! stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah, even as against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, and whether it be (against) rich or poor: for Allah can best protect both. Follow not the lusts (of your hearts)…”and let not the hatred of others to you make you swerve to wrong and depart from justice.”5:8

Even their own Bible says:

Evidently the Christian rulers of America did not get the memo. It is clear and there is no doubt that from the its very beginning, they have treated us Harsher Than Their Own.

Over 100 years ago, the slave, Julia, told white America, “You look like G-d in the face, but act like the devil in your hearts.” Frederick Douglass also said: “You claim the religion of Christ, to be Christ like, and you claim to be the teachers of Democracy for the whole world, but your behavior is such that would shame a nation of savages.” Yes, I Am Your Brother: Understanding the Indigenous African American Muslim.”

Their Child-Our Child

So we knew this all along, but now after two decades mass incarcerations that have devastated African American communities, it is clear that there was no justice in the criminal justice system. When the video of the South Carolina police officer forcibly throwing a young black teenage girl from her chair and dragging her across the floor went viral I made the point that never, in your wildest dream, could you imagine an officer doing a white child like that.”

Now white Americans parents cannot imagine their children spending decades behind bars for their drug abuse. The New York Times reports today that, in light of whites exploding heroin use, “…White Families Seek Gentler War on Drugs.”

http://www.nytimes.com/2015/10/31/us/heroin-war-on-drugs-parents.html?ref=todayspaper&_r=0

The article notes reluctance among some to even use the word “junkie” now, and points out: “When the nation’s long-running war against drugs was defined by the crack epidemic and based in poor, predominantly black urban areas, the public response was defined by zero tolerance and stiff prison sentences. But today’s heroin crisis is different. While heroin use has climbed among all demographic groups, it has skyrocketed among whites; nearly 90 percent of those who tried heroin for the first time in the last decade were white.

“…now using their influence, anger and grief to cushion the country’s approach to drugs, from altering the language around addiction to prodding government to treat it not as a crime, but as a disease.

The Justice Department, under President Obama’s influence, is also preparing to release roughly 6,000 inmates from federal prisons as part of an effort to roll back the severe penalties issued to nonviolent drug dealers in decades past. There are going to come out with disintegrated families (sons who have had no authority in their lives waiting to take the father’s place in the cell), no jobs, no voting rights, and stigma from preventing them even getting jobs. The two decades that some of them have spent in prison I suppose just gives that generation of whites a little head start.

Where’s all that harshness now that there people are being addicted and imprison. No, let’s have a more forgiving attitude now. They’ve got all kinds of excuses for their wickedness, their hatred and their greed but everybody else is the devil. They’re a bunch of hypocrites.

3 Domestic Terrorists

G-d you’ve got to bring justice; you’ve got to make this thing fair. If we believe in a G-d of Justice, let’s prepare ourselves for that. I have no doubt He’ll make it right, if I do my part. And let’s not let the leadership of today’s world take us to hell with them and disqualify us.

It’s Killing Them

Heroes

It’s Killing Them

October 23, 2015

In what was later revealed to be a hoax, it first reported by Newswatch33.com that a 53 year-old Caucasian man, Bobby-Jo Garrison committed suicide in Charlotte, North Carolina because he had an issue with the main character of the new Star Wars episode VII being black. His wife was said to have found him unresponsive with a suicide note saying “Make America White Again.” After some investigation, it was determine d that no one had killed them self and that Newswatch33 was a fake news website.

Nevertheless the new Stars Wars release did cause a real backlash as a new hashtag, #BoycottStarWarsVII has gone viral with hundreds of people are calling for the boycott of Star Wars VII calling the movie “ant-white” and racist because black British actor John Boyega plays Stormtrooper Finn. Racist tweets there are warning that the new movie promotes “white genocide” and was made “to demoralize and destroy” whites.

The issue was widespread enough for the new “The Daily Show” host Trevor Noah to address it on his show. One social media comment made an excellent point. If Star Wars VII promotes “white genocide” and “demoralizes and destroys whites” now because it has a black hero, what was it doing to black people during its first 6 episodes? And what has the whole popular culture done to us for decades? This is the same issue that Imam W. Deen Mohammed addressed for many years through his encouragement of CRAID (Committee for the Removal of All Images that Attempt to Portray the Divine) committees throughout the country, through which he questioned the racial images of divinity prominent in religion. He asked the question, “What would happen if people would sit in churches throughout the world for centuries with the image of an African American man as savior of the world before them? What would this do to the mind of the world’s children? What would happen to the world’s children put under a figure of a particular race presented, pitiable, and in pain “the Savior of all men”?

We now can get a glimpse of what would happen. When the Black man is shown in the true nobility that G-d created him in it shatters their reality. Those with that racist mind set either kill themselves or go to a new level of crazy as we’re seeing in this country now. The election of President Obama and his success in leading the country through crisis after crisis, has destroyed their mental construct of superiority. We know from popular culture that the Matrix is an artificial construct that only exists because people believe in it and that believe sustains it. Some have built their whole lives, put all of their energy into a concept of white superiority and that has done damage to their minds just like living under inferiority has done to ours.

“ ‘Dr. Caroline Myss wrote: “Experiences that carry emotional energy in our energy systems include: past and present relationships, both personal and professional; profound or traumatic experiences and memories; and belief patterns and attitudes, including all spiritual and superstitious beliefs. The emotions from these experiences become encoded in our biological systems and contribute to the formation of our cell tissue, which then generates a quality of energy that reflects those emotions.’ ” Yes, I Am Your Brother: Understanding the Indigenous African American Muslim.

We can direct the flow of our life force into any direction we choose but when it’s not toward devotion to G-d it’s flawed, time limited, and destined to fail. Some direct there energy toward money, and when they lose that, they have no further life so they jump out of window. Some direct theirs toward a certain level of success or a certain status and when they lose that they have nothing to live for. So the person who has none of these and has spent their whole life believing in their inherent superiority has nothing to live for when that is shattered.

It’s really irrelevant whether the suicide story is true or not. It’s so believable, so plausible that it’s expected because we see the same shattered reaction in many whites, as they buy their guns and prepare for what they see is a complete loss of power.

They didn’t complain about Darth Vader, because he was black in black and thus fit the stereotype—black, evil, demon–a Satan like figure dressed in black. But now they are forced to see blacks in heroic savior-type roles and its killing them. I hate that so many of my blogs have to address the race issue but it’s just that time. We’re living in the Day of Judgment and it’s a battle of good vs evil, and whether we like it or not we’re all soldiers on one side or the other.

So, this is my battle. I’m not saying that it should be everybody’s battle but I know it’s mine. And I see racism and white supremacy in its death throes. Sure it seems like there’s a resurgence but that’s because the Day of Judgment is a Day of Manifestation of all Defects. Many people didn’t even realize there was a disease but we can see it now. It’s come to surface of the skin of America and the poison is escaping in hideous pus filled boils. These are your racists.

If they want to boycott Star Wars great. There’s enough rational people out here, fans and supporters, that will make the movie successful. In fact the demand to buy ticket for ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ crashed several websites. But they are opening a Pandora’s box that they can’t put the lid back on. Let this play out on the economic battlefield and they’ll again see who has the power. We then should boycott “Empire” because of its demeaning images and Christmas because of its patent falsehood and blatant exploitation. If we do that we will eventually gain cultural and economic freedom and power and if they are not killing themselves now, they’ll have plenty to kill themselves over if we keep rising. They’re just not going to win in this world.

The Soul Remembers What the Mind Forgot

We Are the Ones

The Soul Remembers What the Mind Forgot

October 21, 2015

What might you think that our ancestors were praying for, and waiting for and dying for? It was us.

“Allah Most High created us from one human soul, and all things that were once one will at some point be reunited. But even as they are separate there is still a commonness—a collective consciousness if you will. This why they say that if a part of the body hurts the whole body hurts, and they say that as long as any man is not free, I am not free.

This tells us that there is a part of us that survives separation. Allah says that He created us in tribes and nations and we might look at this a separation. But He says He did it so we would know or recognize each other. Once we recognize that common soul, we then come together as a stronger whole. I feel the pain of all oppressed people today, but also the pain, the hopes and dreams of people past. I feel Frederick Douglass, the foremost intellectual of his time, and his desire to be recognized as a man and the equal of any man. I feel Dr. King and his dream to one day be judged, even if through his children, by the content of his character. The tragedy today is that too few of us feel these things. But the soul remembers what the mind forgot. “Yes, I Am Your Brother: Understanding the Indigenous African American Muslim.”

Everything Has A Price: If Black Lives Matter, Do Something

Police Killings Boycott

Everything Has A Price: If Black Lives Matter, Do Something

October 20, 2015

“…the system does not respond to anything but economic loss. As the debate ensues as to what should be an appropriate response and an effective long term solution and as the community body continued to flail, I felt that a “Black Christmas” should have been promoted.

Ideally it should have been a Black “Anything but Christmas,” because the spirit of “Peace on Earth and good will toward Men,” we don’t even hear any more in the dialogue. And it has become even embarrassing to promote the concept of a little white baby Jesus, as an image of divinity. What we hear then and what we see is a mad rush from “Thanksgiving” which is almost an inconvenience to “Black Friday” where they balance their books. Now they are trying to move the shopping frenzy of a Black Friday up to pre-Thanksgiving purple Tuesday or blue Wednesday to extend the holiday shopping season. The supposed birth of Prophet Jesus is lost in the dialogue already. Since its lost already, let’s be real. Let’s call a spade a spade. Let’s call it exactly what it is—the biggest commercial holiday of the year. And if we contribute any significant percentage to this biggest economic event of the year then if we are going to access the system where it hurts, or where it’s going to be effective in bringing about a change, we should have kept our money in our pocket, and we should keep our money in our pocket. We should pay a price, deny ourselves if necessary for true freedom. We should sit down with our children and tell them: “Son, you know it is shameful for a people to attribute divinity to any human being, white or black. You know there is no Santa Claus also. You know there is no fat Caucasian man in a red suit that brings you gifts. You know that I am the one that gives you gifts on this day. I will give you whatever you need just as I do all year round. But I will not shop for this day or before this day until I know that your future is secure, and I know that you will not be vulnerable to being shot down in the street because you have a hood on, or because you look suspicious or because you are a young African American portrayed in an intimidating image. I will not let you lose your life to the forces in this system. I must ask you to share this responsibility toward your future, with us during this season and family togetherness. Let us come together and spend time together and get to know each other better. And love each other more. And this is how we will celebrate. And we will keep our money in our pockets until I know that you are safe and secure in the streets.”

That would have been my response. Now whether or not it would be effective, I will ask you this. I believe if this had been done on a mass scale, not only would the police come to respect the lives of young black men more but they are so serious about their economic ‘god’ that the police would begin to fulfill their real mission to serve and protect. They’d help young African American men across the street and make sure they didn’t accidentally fall in the streets and hurt themselves to protect their economic system.”

A Million Captive Ears

March

A Million Captive Ears

October 13, 2015

It’s truly beautiful how Allah (G-d) gives us freedom to advance our lives however we see fit, to make a plan and go after it. We make a plan and He blesses our good intentions and brings about its success. And sometimes we make plans with bad intentions and He still over-encompasses and overwhelms our Plan with His Plan.

This weekend’s events were just such occasions. We witnessed another historic March to Washington, sponsored by Minister Louis Farrakhan. It reminds us of the history of the original Nation of Islam which evolved from the good-intentioned plan of W. D. Fard and the good intentioned work of Honorable Elijah Muhammad. I believe Fard’s plan was good intentioned because I believe he truly wanted us to someday come into the true understanding and true message of Al-Islam, but we also know that he took a short cut by trying to accommodate our belief in a physical manifestation of G-d in flesh. He took the short cut of appealing to our anger and emotional hurt and past history of oppression in America and glorified black flesh which had been demonized and demonized the white flesh that had been seen as divine.

Allah says in Qur’an that the greatest oppression of man is false worship, so if we are talking about true freedom the greatest liberation that man can hope for is the liberation from a false concept of G-d. That is the message that I would have liked to see come from a Muslim sponsored event if you have a captive audience of a million people. But it was not my event and G-d is the best judge. Nevertheless, we know that G-d Plans will subsume all of our Plans and His will be the one to prevail in the end.

This isn’t to say that social justice and economic justice is not important. This is just saying that there is a hierarchy and correct worship of G-d is most important. As long as we believe in a man god, be it white Jesus or pseudo-white Fard, we’re still enslaved. We’re still enslaved when we believe in the superiority of black flesh. We’re still enslaved when we respond emotionally when a rational response is called for.

That is the tool of the Politicians, and preachers. Play on their anger and emotions. Look at what South Carolina Republican Senator Lindsey Graham said on the future of the GOP. “The demographics race we’re losing. We’re not generating enough angry white guys to stay in business for the long term.” He is acknowledging that their success is in stoking anger. And now we can see how people like Donald Trump and Ben Carson can say the outrageous things they say and still generate large followings. Should we use the same tools? Of course not. In the long run it’s going to be the rational minded people that survive and end up on top.

Is there any logic then in us taking up the same tool and thinking that its gong to serve us in the long run? Yet we continue to appeal to the anger, emotions and frustrations of our people and as a community body we end of flailing prn arms and legs, expending a lot of energy and resources without accomplishing much.

Yet, Allah (G-d) still is in charge with His Plan and see how he takes even bad intentions and advances the good. As The Huffington Post headline confirms:

“Sorry, Islamophobes: Your Anti-Muslim Rallies Ended Up Inspiring Acts Of Love And Service”

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/islamophone-hate-rallies-counter-protest-love_5617ff19e4b0e66ad4c7c191

Now we have another group who, at the same time held anti-Muslim rallies in different cities. You can’t see any good intentions or good results in their efforts. Some have suggested, that they intended, as did Dylan Roof who killed 9 innocent African Americans in a South Carolina church that they intended to ignite violence or a race war. Most of these people are Christians, People of the Book, and Allah (G-d) has pointed them out and their attitude toward Muslims.

Surah Al-Maeda, Verse 59: Say: “O people of the Book! Do ye disapprove of us for no other reason than that we believe in Allah, and the revelation that hath come to us and that which came before (us), and (perhaps) that most of you are rebellious and disobedient?”

But again Allah takes their plan against Believers and uses it to advance His Plan. So we pray that Allah (G-d) bless Minister Farrakhan and the many thousands of supporters who went to Washington DC to advocate for justice with successful results. And we should also pray that he soften the hearts of the sick people in the society and heal their disease.

Seek Understanding

 October 8, 2015
Zaimah Ella-Jefe

Al-Lateef is the Arabic attribute of God that explains how deeply understanding God is. With the ability to understand even the most subtle, complex mysteries. Al-Lateef is also translated as “The Kind” and “The Gentle”. If we see, isn’t this an indication of what is required, in order for us to be kind? In order for us to be gentle. To ourselves, and others? Understanding is the only way. And deep understanding gives way to deeper kindness, and deeper capacity to be gentle.

I seek Al-Lateef especially these days. And I want to be Lateef in my dealings with myself and others. Understanding, Kind, Gentle. Peace .

Who Will Survive?

Who Will Survive?
October 7, 2015
One thing I love about the Holy Qur’an and that is that as Allah says there is no important aspect of life that it does not address. So I read the news and watch the societies descent into craziness and stupid and I am not dismayed at all. It has all been explained very clearly. Some want to threaten, intimidate and discriminate against Muslims, expel them from the country. I’m a Muslim and my roots in this country goes deeper than theirs. My investment in this country is more than theirs. So, I ain’t going nowhere and this is what G-d says about your plans:
Holy Qur’an
14:13
And the Unbelievers said to their messengers: “Be sure we shall drive you out of our land, or ye shall return to our religion.” But their Lord inspired (this Message) to them: “Verily We shall cause the wrong-doers to perish!
14:14
“And verily We shall cause you to abide in the land, and succeed them. This for such as fear the Time when they , stand before My tribunal,- such as fear the punishment denounced.”

The Life of the Happy Squirrel

October 6, 2015

Every time we seemed poised to make progress the popular culture floods the air waves with nonsense and indecency to drown out our good senses.

In the 70s it was the ‘Superfly’. A fly is something nasty and they had us wanting to emulate something super nasty. I don’t remember hearing black people in the street speaking in the labored slang dialogue and walking with the exaggerated swagger of the Blackploitation films. Yet that was the stereotype that was promoted and we bought into it and acted it out just like it was our reality. Now it’s gangster rap and seeing how violent, how ignorant and how profane can we get and our youth are feeding into that. But you can do that when you take away a people’s culture. There’s a void there and they will fill it with something. Now we are addicted to being entertained.

“In 1985 Andrew Postman, in his book “Amusing Ourselves to Death,” made this point: “TV is turning all public life (education, religion, politics, journalism) into entertainment; how the image is undermining other forms of communication, particularly the written word; and how our bottomless appetite for TV will make content so abundantly available, content be damned, we’ll be overwhelmed by “information glut” until what is truly meaningful is lost and we no longer care what we’ve lost as long as we’re being amused.

The death that Postman is describing is of consciousness, the death of regard for important things, the death of intellectual capacity and curiosity. Now 20 years later, add to that information glut, content from Computers, PDA’s, Smartphones, Ipods, Ipads, Facebook, YouTube, Snapchat and instant messaging, and it will take a Noah’s Ark to save us from the flood of virtual nonsense. Spiritual language, the language of intelligent behavior, is no longer reaching the public.” From “Yes, I Am Your Brother: Understanding the Indigenous African American Muslim.”

Even animals will reject certain things. Our very nature tells us to seek intelligent and meaningful things. Our body seeks cleanliness and rejects impurity and so should our mind. Thus the saying “cleanliness is godliness” or cleanliness is next to godliness. It is our nature to reject ignorance and go for intelligence; reject hostility and show compassion. But some of us now are even worse than the typical furry animal. We just want a laugh and a happy feeling.

Get Over It?

Black Leaders

Get Over It?

October 4, 2015

I wrote yesterday in the article, “Moving Forward Through Forgiveness,” the conditions for obtaining forgiveness from G-d, and the additional requirement when the wrong has been done against another person. That additional condition is that we make amends to the person for the wrong.

It is asked frequently of African Americans ‘slavery was 400 years ago. Why can’t you let that go?” My response is “I could let it go if you would stop doing it.” My heart is healed because I know that the justice for America’s treatment of her once slaves is in G-d’s Hands. But I will never forget. The memory is in my genes and in the collective conscious of the race. I know though that you cannot move forward in life carrying the burden of your past hurt in your heart.

But every time we try to move forward and try to let the wounds heal, they come and pull the scab off. When we were first freed after Emancipation we made great progress. There were…. African American legislators throughout the South and in Congress, https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10206092026874230&set=gm.907005529353166&type=3 and colleges were established throughout the south. Then the North imposed Reconstruction on the former slave master’s, brutal segregation and Jim Crow laws were established and the KKK rose to keep that terror and fear alive in us.

But we struggled to survive, where were at, and we moved when we had to. We established ourselves and communities–in places like Tulsa OK. Then as soon as they saw us progressing and trying to enjoy the freedom we had earned, they rioted in cities across the country, and burned our prosperous neighborhoods. In Tulsa, an entire prosperous community known as “Black Wall Street” was burned by white terrorist mobs, firebombed and bombed from planes. When it was over, only a single block remained of the 1,400 Homes and Businesses that made up the area. Blacks were lynched and murdered and as Richard Warner of the Tulsa Historical reported black “bodies were stacked like cord.” http://sfbayview.com/2011/02/what-happened-to-black-wall-street-on-june-1-1921/ Then continued decades of lynching. Is it any wonder when many Blacks today are seen to have ambitions and dreams of great accomplishments most of the rest will speak out and say, “the white man ain’t gon’ let you do that.”

Tulsa

When the moral conscience of the nation was moved by the Civil Rights movement, that malice in their hearts didn’t just die. As we can see today that attitude is alive and well, in the south, in our urban cities, and in Washington, DC. There are still those who would do anything rather than see their former slaves be independent and thrive. Republicans took an oath when President Obama was first elected that they would oppose anything he did even if it hurt the country.

So yes those wounds of slavery have had plenty of time to heal, but America has not fulfilled a main requirement for forgiveness and that is acknowledging the wrong they have done to the people and making amends. Instead there is this movement now to re-write history. In Texas and other southern states text books used in a schools have completely omitted mention and history of slavery Jim Crow, lynching or the Ku Klux Klan. Instead they imply that slaves voluntary migrated to this country to find work. http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/texan-mom-wins-fight-against-textbook-that-erased-slavery/ar-AAf8ooX?ocid=se.

When they acknowledge what they have done and try to make amends, then I can forgive them. Until then their matter is with G-d and He’s obligated to deal with them. What we can do in the meantime is to bombard Texas with the truth so our children will know the lie and see the liars for what they are. They’re children can just remain ignorant and that’s their curse.
