It Started with Anti-Jewish rhetoric. It went from there to Anti-Jewish Legislation. It ended with camps and genocide. Listen to what these Republican candidates are saying and being hailed as patriotic Americans by their supporters in saying it. Carson references Rabid’ dogs and closing mosques as Anti-Islam rhetoric grows in GOP.’
Donald Trump’s Plan for a Muslim Database Draws Comparison to Nazi Germany.
And his latest plan that keeps him as the republican frontrunner and gets rave reviews from his followers: “Let’s Force Muslims To Carry Special IDs Like Nazis Made Jews”
All of their language is becoming more and more racist, more and more xenophobic, and more and more acceptable as the mainstream media give them a pass and accepts their rhetoric as innocent campaign hype. But it is stirring ugly emotions and angry and hateful people and no one is calling them on it. At a recent Trump rally an African American was beaten up.
Robert Kiger, the head of the Donald Trump-supporting SuperPAC Citizens for Restoring USA, told CNN’s Carol Costello on Monday that members of the #BlackLivesMatter movement “don’t really” have a right to protest at Donald Trump rallies for the same reason that “I wouldn’t go into a black church and start screaming “white lives matter!’”
During the first six years of Hitler’s dictatorship, from 1933 until the outbreak of war in 1939, more than 400 decrees and regulations were passed that restricted all aspects of their public and private lives. Many of those laws were national ones that had been issued by the German administration and affected all Jews. But state, regional, and municipal officials, on their own initiative, also promulgated a barrage of exclusionary decrees in their own communities.
Thus state Governors, even though they don’t have the legal authority to do so, are issuing decrees that no Syrian refugees will come into their state. And politicians are suggesting letting only Christian Syrians in or requiring a religious test. Their rhetoric would be hilarious in 2015 in America, the land of liberty if they were not so serious, if it wasn’t so sickening and if many of them were not actually in power to do these things. Who would have thought that the United States would have put their own Japanese citizens in camps? In the hysteria of that war in the 1940s many referred to the Muslim followers of Honorable Elijah Muhammad as Black Japs, no doubt setting the stage the next stage of camp internment. True enough Hitler Germany was a dictatorship, but you’ll find Satan hiding in all kinds of philosophies, as ISIS is proving today. So, let us begin to respect more human decency, human kindness, human freedom and rational behavior and stop worshipping Democracy as an institution. It’s a good concept but it’s only as good as the people running it.
